I talk about doing things more than I achieve things

This is a major problem for some people, partially because we live in a society that is primed for instant gratification. The wise person knows the difference between talking about what you are going to do, and actually getting it done. We confuse "convincing the world" that we are doing something of value with doing something of value. 

Marcus Aurelius was probably one of the best leaders of human history. Through his book meditations he has become the best leadership coach also. We have the ability to read his private journal and learn what made him tick.
